Cambria Benefits Group – Tampa, Florida

For the last 25 years, we have been involved in the employee benefits industry. Through that time, we have engaged with a variety of employer groups helping them manage their benefits plans. At Cambria, our goal is clear and focused. We must get our clients to a better place than when we found them and we must help them achieve a competitive advantage with the employee benefits plans they offer.

We look at the benefits broker/client relationship as drawing similar parallels to the physician/patient relationship.  With the physician/patient relationship, the physicians ability to ask appropriately targeted, diagnostic questions is the key to prescribing effective treatment paths for the patient.  Good communication is key.  With the benefits broker/client relationship, our ability to ask high quality, meaningful questions to you as the client determines whether we will obtain the necessary information to advise you effectively with the benefit plans you sponsor.  We invest a great deal of thought into how we can improve the quality of the diagnostic questions we ask you.  If we are able to obtain better information from you, we can then strategically deliver the tools and resources that will deliver the best results for your organization.

When our firm was founded in 2008, we saw an opportunity to serve our clients in fresh, innovative ways. Although our principal, Steve Saucier, benefited from his years of experience working for large national brokers, it was time to create a new kind of benefits firm.  He wanted to build a benefits practice that would place profit margin demands behind the needs of its clients.  At Cambria, we redirect a significant portion of the brokerage fees our clients pay us to deliver powerful, game-changing resources that make a big difference in the performance of the plans we consult to.

Cambria Benefits Group is a boutique firm which only focuses on serving a relatively small group of clients. We are not all things to all people and do not wish to be. We try to locate the employer groups we feel will be a good fit for our value proposition.  Our strategic resource partners are among the best in the business. We are confident the services, tools and resources we provide can make the difference for our clients and suitable prospective clients. Finally, for larger clients on a fee basis, we guarantee our performance by placing a percentage of our compensation at risk if we do not meet the expectations of our clients. It’s just that simple.

Our reputation is very important to us. We deal with our clients and business partners with this in mind every step along the way. We extend professional courtesy at all times. We treat our clients’ problems as our own. We act with a sense of urgency. We do not procrastinate. We return phone calls and emails quickly.  In short, we act the way we would want to be treated if we were the client. We get it.

Our Mission Statement

To help our clients obtain a competitive advantage with the employee benefits plans they sponsor by using proven best practices in health care cost containment, employee communications and strategic planning.
